No data collected

MacVital does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any personal data. All system metrics — CPU, memory, disk, network, battery, and audio — are read locally on your Mac and never leave your device.

What stays on your device

• Historical usage data (CPU, memory, disk trends) stored in ~/Library/Application Support/MacVitals/
• App preferences and settings stored in macOS UserDefaults

You can delete this data at any time by removing the app and its associated files.

License activation (direct download only)

If you purchase the direct-download version, your license key is validated against our server to confirm it is genuine. During activation, a machine identifier is transmitted solely to bind the license to your device. This identifier is not linked to any personal information and is not used for tracking or analytics.

Third parties

MacVital does not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services. No data is shared with third parties.
